The Commercial National Bank of Youngstown, Ohio, Charter #2482, 1882 Value Back $5, Fr.577, Extremely Fine, PMG-40. This scarce $5 Value Back note is newly discovered and is far and away the finest among the other ten notes, most of which are in only VG condition. There are only two notes of any type, large or small that are reported to be in higher condition (Ungraded "50"s) and probably none that LOOK as nice as this note. Only lightly circulated, it looks Uncirculated from the front, with bright colors, bold stamped signatures and near-perfect margins. A great value! Please note that the PMG label incorrectly identifies this as a five dollar note. The typo can be corrected and the note reholderd upon request to PMG. The 1882 $5 Value Back is a desirable Type Note. At last report there were less than 80 known notes on only 17 charters for the entire state of Ohio.
