Fr.1860-J*, 1929 $100 Kansas City Star FRBN, Very Fine, PMG-25.
Of the seven Districts for which $100 Federal Reserve Bank Notes were printed, Kansas City had the lowest number, next to Dallas, at only 96,000 notes. The number of replacement notes were on par with the other six Districts at 12,000 printed, but it is the collectors' good fortune that there are more stars surviving for Kansas City at a reported 45 pieces. So, if you want a $100 FRBN Star as type, this District is the most affordable.
