Exceedingly rare. Not at all bad for the grade, with very good color, including strong red serial numbers.

Federal paper money in the United States began during the Civil War. This 1862 example (much scarcer than the Fr.16's) is one of the first notes of one of the first issuances ever produced, an important addition to any collection, and a great value.
